Best Applesauce Cake Ever
Many of my recipes come from friends or family. This one comes from my sister. I love it because it is so moist and comforting. The combination of spices add a sense of comfort to your body and soul. This recipe feels like coming home. You have the option of enjoying it as is, or adding a smooth cream cheese frosting.
A good tip to know is that apple sauce can be used in place of vegetable oil. (If 1 cup of oil is called for, use 1 cup of unsweetened apple sauce). It’s a healthier option and actually adds flavor. This evokes the question, what can you replace in your life that will be a healthier option? For instance, instead of 30 minutes on social media, spend it reading something inspiring. Or how about walking in nature instead of in a gym? The choices are endless. I’d love to hear what improvements you come up with!
